Every time Amzon.com updates its Kindle Previewer application, it adds new Kindles to its preview options, while removing some older models. But what if you still want to test your E-books on those models? For that, you'll need the old versions. Here you can download Kindle Previewer 2.901 and 2.92.
Amazon offers Kindle Previewer as a straight .zip file; there is no disk image or installer. Please use these programs at your own risk.
As soon as you unzip and install an older version of Kindle Previewer, Amazon will try to update it, so be careful:
As soon as the program is open, go to the "help" menu of your Macintosh and select "Update Options." Tell Kindle Previewer you don't want any background/automatic updates.
Please note that different versions of Kindle Previewer read/write to the same Mac OS X preferences .plist file. To save yourself a lot of needless worry, consider taking one of these precautions:

This is the .pdf file of the slides I presented in my talk at ebookcraft 2015 in Toronto. That presentation included quick glances at several (cached) Websites, so I have added a few pages to this slide deck with links to those sites. The ebookcraft Website will post videos of all talks in the coming weeks; please understand that these slides were just backdrops to what I hope was a substantive talk about formatting poetry anthologies for EPUB and KF8. Many thanks to Laura Brady and everyone at BookNet Canada for arranging such a delightful conference!
